Handpicked, single vineyard Nebbiolo from Heathcote, fermented using wild yeast and bottled without fining or filtration. A very tightly knit wine requiring extended decanter time. Best suited to porcini mushroom risotto.
The Heathcote vineyard’s trademark characters of fennel and sour cherry are balanced by prominent acidity and fine tannin, the 09 Nebbiolo will become increasingly floral and show typical tarry notes as the wine develops in bottle.
